The first ever crossover "Ashoka" watch series between AXIS and ByLeona is an excellent showcase of artistically merging traditional culture with innovative designs and technology. The series integrated with the ceramic and unique pattern printing technology, a breakthrough! The design was inspired by the love of ancient Oriental art and culture, and it could be seen as a contemporary interpretation of East meets West design concept which tells stories from the past and connect audiences to the deep Oriental heritage. The octagonal bezel is used to imply auspiciousness with five different pattern designs and each pattern has different meaningful blessing messages, such as the straight and unchanging characteristics of the feather arrow pattern symbolize determination and the desire to pray for happiness, while the bow and arrow represent the fight against evil and are also regarded as lucky charms for Japanese shrines, and the Asaba pattern symbolizes growth, resistance/recovery and prosperity.

“Ashoka” comes with 5 styles in 4 collections, each collection is packed in octagonal Bone China gift box with different unique pattern. The watch is made with high-standard materials and craftsmanship, each style includes two pieces of high-tech ceramic bezels with interchangeable construction and you can interchange the bezel easily to make your daily look. The dial is composed of natural high-quality rare Mother Of Pearl (MOP) and brass metal. In order to make the dial more layered, the craftsman has finely carved the hemp leaf pattern on the 0.35mm brass metal to make details of the watch perfectly, while the crown was integrated in the case. The strap is made of high-quality genuine leather material, and different patterns are silk printed on the strap to make the watch more artistic.

However, Hong Kong only retained a role as the supplier of international watch brands rather than leading the market with its own brands.
