“ALoomA Crystalline Coffee Cup Set” Series

“ALoomA” — a name born from the fusion of “Looms” and “Aroma”—a crystalline coffee cup collection that embodies the essence of “Silk・Coffee・Tea Culture.” Inspired by the flowing elegance of silk, the design unfolds from the base of the coffee cup with embossed patterns representing the four classic silk weave structures— Líng [Twill], Luó [Gauze], Chóu [Damask], and Duàn [Satin]— gracefully rising along the cup’s body. Each motif is delicately outlined in gold, evoking the refined edging found in silk garments. The accompanying tray echoes the airy movement of silk, paired with a delicately curved teaspoon that visually integrates the colours of the four seasons, creating a harmonious whole. The collection also introduces a tall cold beverage cup, seamlessly integrating the intricate textures of silk weaves into everyday life. Whether savouring coffee or sipping tea, “ALoomA” series offers a sensory journey that bridges East and West—an elegant fusion that lingers long after the final sip.

Ivy Lau Hoi Wai (Ivy), lead designer at CultureScope, brings over a decade of experience in fashion design. She has worked with numerous international brands and formerly served as chief designer for a major denim brand in China. Ivy believes heritage and modernization exist on two intertwined planes: one is the preservation and continuation of traditional culture; the other is the pursuit of cross-disciplinary growth, sparking the creation of new things relevant to modern times. 

The partnership between Silique and Ivy aims to revitalize the essence of silk culture, fusing it with wearable art. Together, they blend tradition with creative fashion expression, offering bold new highlights that reimagine the timeless beauty of silk for today’s generation.
