Since 1959, Koon Wah Food establishes in Hong Kong. From production to selling, we are with Hong Kong people for more than half century. Koon Wah Food commits to maintain the traditional taste and constantly improving product quality and production technology. As time goes by, Koon Wah Food always care our customer. 

Brand Story

In 1959, Yip Koon was inspired by his father – Yip Zhi Lo, a famous chef in Guangdong. The passion and persistence of Gourmet encourage him to established his snack kingdom “Koon Wah Food “and opened his mega manufacturing plant in Hong Kong. His son John further introduce the concept in “Snack Specialty Store” in the megastore. And the huge neon sign built one of the landmarks in Kowloon in the 50ths. Now “Chef John” becomes familiar to most of us. With John’s creative and integration snacks into our regular dishes.

On market development, our prince Vincent has his thought aiming to bring KW food and the best element to the world. Introduce the “Koon Wah Snack Culture” all over the world.

Creative Director of Head & Tail, Luke Lo Tze Chung, has over a decade of branding design experiences. He emphasizes that design should not only pursue visual effects in food packaging but also reflect brand personality and consider customers' eating experience with new products.  

He is specialise in creating and supporting brands through brand concepts, brand identity and visual communication in different formats. Their clients come from a wide variety of sectors and range from local startups to companies with a global precence.
